Research Services Center For Health Information(RSCHI) and Health and Welfare Data Science Center, Ministry of Health and Welfare-Chang Gung sub-centers was set up in 2013 of Chang Gung University, cooperation with Health and Welfare Data Science Center, Ministry of Health and Welfare. Chang Gung sub-centers is the sixth sub-centers established by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and Statistics Department. The Ministry of Health and Welfare has provided 14 categories of 53 kinds of database, including two million files, and Health policy, health surveys, health-related information.

Chang Gung sub-centers provide convenient information, improve the environment, and facilitate the application of the relevant processes to Chang Gung researchers system. And for the simultaneous development of campus research cooperation, combined with the vast number of applications related to Chang Gung's health information system, set up "Chang Gung University-Research Services Center For Health Information(RSCHI) ", to promote Chang Gung University and Chang Gung medical system to national health database application to conduct research and health job Profile. And go through education training and workshops, promotion of health data analysis and value-added research, cultivating health data analysis talent, and provide health data processing and analysis consulting services.
